Re: Petersen Park Ba11 Field Lighting
Dear Mr. Merkel:
Thank you for requesting a budget quotation for the Musco Light-Structure2 System
lighting equipment for relighting Pony Field#2 and Youth Softball Field#4 at Petersen Park.
This budget quotation is based on the layout used during our meeting. Actual pole
locations must be determined and a variance may sli�htly alter the footcandle values. Also, the
quotation is based on a turn-key installation by a contractor. A partial or complete installation by
city staff and/or volunteers is possible as a method to save money on the overall cost of the
project.
PUNY FIELD#2
� Baseball Field#2(275', 280', 275')lighted to 45 footcandles infield and 31 footcandles
outfield average initial light level(35 FC infield and 25 FC outfield average maintained with .8
maintenance factor).
Musco Light-Structure2 System, six poles, (BOCA-C 80 NiPH}, Sportscluster-2 and
Level-8. Musco LSS includes steel pole with galvanized finish and facto made concrete base.
Luminaire assembly includes lamp, reflector,U.L. listed double fusing each fixture, factory
attached tubular steel crossarms, factory wired, a11 wiring enclosed in continuous raceways,ballast
to fixture wire harness with bumper guards and plu�-ins, adjustable aiming device, factory aimed,
and galvaruzed finish. Electrical component box with stainless steel hinges and fasteners and
thermal magnetic breaker to be remote at approximately 10' above ground to separate the two
heat sources(lamp and ballast)and to center the majority of the weight on the pole.
Musco Light-Structure2 warranty is for ten years on labor and parts(except fuses) and the
aiming of the system. Annual inspections and tenth year complete re-lamp are included. To
reduce price of project, warranty may be reduced at your discretion.
Musco Level-8 glare and spill light control system ineludes multi-tier visor and lamp arc _
cap. Visor is attached to glass lens at the factory.
The above description covers the lighting system, concrete bases and steel poles ready for

Installation requires auguring six holes, installing factory made concrete bases,backfilling
with cancr�te, assembling and erecting poles,trenching and installing underground canductors,
and making electrical connections at existing panel board and poles.

YOUTH FIELD#4

avera�e initiallight level(30 FC infield and 20 FC outfield average maintained with .8
maintenance factor).
Musco Light-Structure2 System,four poles, (BOCA-C 80 MPI-�, Sportscluster-2 and
Level-8. Light-Stxucture2 equipment and description same as above. '
