City Staff in Attendance: Deputy City Administrator Bill Hobson, Recreation Superintendant Cindy Witt and Athletic Program Coordinator Pattie Lunkenheimer. The meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm. Public Input No one participated in Public Input. Discussion of Sponsorship Packet for Recreation Pro�rams Recreation Superintendent Witt reviewed with the committee what Parks and Recreation staff prepared for sponsorships to be mailed to local companies. Deputy City Administrator Hobson made the suggestion to add 3 brochure ads to the full year sponsor. Motion by Blake, seconded by Schaefer to implement the sponsorship program as presented with the change of adding 3 brochure ads to the full year sponsorship. � Aye: Peterson, Schaefer, Blake. Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Merkel Aquatic Center Fees for Summer 2015 Recreation Superintendent Witt reviewed the proposed changes for adjusted times and fees for the Merkel Aquatic Center for the Summer of 2015. Motion by Schaefer, seconded by Blake to bring the pool rental fees to the full council for approval. Aye: Peterson, Schaefer, Blake. Nay: None. Absent: None. Motion carried. Motion by Schaefer, seconded by Blake to adopt the proposed changes for the times and admission fees for the Merkel Aquatic Center as presented. Aye: Peterson, Schaefer, Blake. Nay: None. Absent: None. � Motion carried. Reports to Committee � Deputy City Administrator Hobson updated the Aldermen on the Fort McHenry project. Leathers and Associates have made two visits to oversee the project and will return the first week in March. The project is scheduled to be completed by spring break. Deputy City Administrator Hobson gave an update on the Dog Park. The Dog Park has been very successful and staff sells dog park passes almost every day. 435 passes have been sold since September 2014. Last year approximately 140 passes were sold. Sixty eight pass holders did not renew after the first year. Other Business Deputy City Administrator Hobson gave an update on the recreation center and the Parks and Recreation CIP.
