Dartmoor Drive and thereby creating parking issues on the adjacent side streets.
Director of Public Works Marcinko noted an effort was made to address as many concerns as
possible, stating StafF's recommendation if to prohibit parking on the south side of Dartmoor Drive from

Construction of a Sidewalk Along the West Side of
Green Street from the Municipal Center to Miller Road
Chairman Bolger noted a resident approached Council at the Apri129, 2002 regulazly scheduled
Meeting requesting construction of a sidewalk along the west side of Green Street from the Municipal
Center to Miller Road for the safety of pedestrians walking from McHenry Shores Subdivision to the
Skate Park. He opined a developer will put in sidewalks as the property is developed, however, a safety
issue currently exists.
Director of Public Works Marcinko stated a 4-foot sidewalk would be within the public right of
way and would not encroach on any designa.ted wetlands. The project would extend from the existing
sidewalk on the west side of Green Street, in front of the Municipal Center, south to the northwest
corner of Green Sireet and Miller Road and would create a safe access to the Municipal Center and
`-- Skatepark facilities. Director Marcinko noted the estimated cost of the project is $3,700 suggesting
Street Division employees might be used for construction since the project only entails a short distance.
