The City of McHenry Human Relations Commission is very pleased to learn of your
interest in our board. Our Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month, at
7 P.M. in the council chambers at the McHenry Municipal Center. The meetings are
open to the public, and we look forward to your visiting us.
The purpose of the commission is "to provide a living environment that is free from
prejudice, discrimination, persecution, racism, and intolerance for all persons who live,
work or visit the city of McHenry." Our commission has engaged in several projects
working with local businesses, and schools to promote the ideals of compassion and
tolerance.
