Millennium Committee Meeting Report
� September 27, 1999 7:00 P.M.
Attendance: Mayor Cuda, Bobbie Pantaleo, Valorie Hobson, Sheila Beil, Lisa
Benoit, Anne Cuda, and Marci Geraghty. Also in attendance was
Greg Janowiak of Sign Works.
Banners: Greg Janowiak of Sign Works attended the meeting to discuss and
assist on the selection of colors for the Millennium banner. A
sample of the banner the Riverside Drive Business Association will
hang on poles on Riverside Drive was not available for this
meeting. It was the decision of the Committee to wait until October
11 when a sample banner would be available to choose colors for
the Millennium Banner. A border and different styles were
suggested.
Time Capsule: A quote was selected from entries received at the Mayor's office.
Out of only six entries received, the following quote was selected,
"Day by day we record our lives; the centuries pass in the night."
Calendars: Lisa Benoit will report to the Committee prices and quantities for
poster and "tear-off' calendars. Aerial photographer Robin
Predergast took pictures last Thursday. 8"x10" sample shots
should be available for review at the October 11 meeting.
