In Attendance: Committee Members: Chairman Alderman Murgatrayd, Alderman Bolger
and Alderman Peterson. Absent: None. Also in Attendance: Assistant to the City Adrninistrator
Martin, Director of Finance Kline and City Clerk Jones.
Also in Attendance: John Eder, Eder, Casella& Co.
Chairman Murgatroyd called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Present�tion of 2403/2004(�eneral Purnose Financ�al Re ►�oM
Chairm;in Murgatroyd introduced John Eder, principal of Eder, Casella & Co. Mr. Eder
provided the Committee with an overview of the 2003/2004 General Purpose Financial Report.
He complimented Finance Director Kline and her staff for their cooperative efforts durin� the
audit process.
Mr. Eder informed the Committee the audit was conducted in accordance with auditing
standards generally accepted in the United States and the standards applicable to financial audits
cantained in Gov'ernment Auditing Standards. He briefly explained the implementation of
GASB Statement No. 34 and the City's new financial reporting model as required by the
provisions of GASB34, Basic Financial Statements and Management's Discussion and Analysis
for State and Lacal Governmems.
