Interior Conference Room, 7:00 p.m.
In Attendance: Committee Members: Chairman Alderman Schaefer, Alderman Blake and
Alderman Wimmer. Absent: None.
Also in Attendance: City Administrator Black, Police Chief Jones, Alderman Santi and City
Clerk Jones.
Chairman Alderman Schaefer called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.
Discussion Re�ardin�2011/2012 Bud�et
City Administrator Black informed the Committee that significant adjustments have been made
in order to balance the 2011/2012 budget. He noted that with the closure and relocation of
Walmart, the City of McHenry can expect a reduction in sales tax revenue of approximately
$300,000.
City Administrator Black provided the Committee with a brief update regarding the status of the
General Fund. He stated that currently revenues in the General Fund exceed expenses by
approximately$8,000.
,� Chairtnan Alderman Schaefer informed the Committee they would be adjourning to Executive
Session to discuss personnel and collective bargaining matters.
Executive Session—FOP Unit I and FOP Unit II
Motion by Blake, seconded by Wimmer, to go into Executive Session to discussion
personnel matters at 7:11 p.m.
Voting Aye: Blake, Schaefer, Wimmer.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Motion by Blake, seconded by Wimmer, to return to Open Session at 8:40 p.m.
Voting Aye: Blake, Schaefer, Wimmer.
Voting Nay: None.
Absent: None.
Motion carried.
Committee returned to Open Session at 8:40 p.m.
