MEMBERS ABSENT: Aldermen Lieder and McClatchey. OTHERS PRESENT: Parks and Recreation Director Merkel ; Administrative Assistant Pattie Lunkenheimer, Recreation Supervisor Cindy Owens, Park Maitenance Employee Tom Schmidt; Mayor Busse; Aldermen Teta and Bolger; Zoning Board Members Donna Tobeck and Harry Semrow; Plan Commission Members Earl Osman, John Swierk, David Gutierrez and Bill Buhrman; Economic Advisory Committee Member Annie Sommer; and Cyndi Wyss, Northwest Herald. PURPOSE OF MEETING: Discuss Parks and Recreation Master Plan. 1 . Presentation by Dr. Joseph Bannon and Dr. Lynn Morris, from the nivers�ty o inois, epartment o eisure u ies. DICUSSION: The presentation was given on the components of a community wider Parks and Recreation Master Plan. A copy of the outline on the presentation is attached to these minutes. RECOMMENDATION: There is no recommendation by the committee at this time. Further discussion on this Master Plan will be done at the November 2Q, 1989 Parks and Recreation Committee Meeting.
