Members Building and Zoning present were: Marya Dixon, Donnabelle Doherty, Adele Froehlich, (815)363-2170 Carl Fredrickson, Jean Smith, Larry Huck, and Lori Wilhelm. Parks and Recreation MINUTES (815)363-2160 mutes were approved as read. Police (Non-Emergency) FINANCIAL REPORT (815)363-2200 Carl reported that he did not receive a report from the Clerk's office. Mayor PERMANENT EXHIBIT \..—•even J.Cuda Carl suggested that we should have a portable display board to use City Clerk when we have a booth at Fairs. Lori reminded the members that our Barbara E.Gilpin display boxes on three business streets in the City are badly in Treasurer need of restoration. There was discussion on how to rejuvenate the Lillian Cairns display of old photos the City found when moving to the new Aldermen building. It was suggested that we think more about it and come up with some suggestions at the next meeting. WARD 1 William J.Bolger COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM FAIR WARD2 Carl reported that we are signed up for a booth at the Museum's Fair Terence W.Locke on June 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We need people to be WARD 3 there. Carl said he would call Nancy to see what we need to Gregory C.Bates provide. Lori suggested we have sweatshirts and T-shirts printed with a drawing and something to commemorate Landmark Schools 100th WARD 4 anniversary. Everyone agreed that we could start selling them at David T.Lawson this Fair. A motion was made by Donnabelle that we approve the WARD5 expenditure of money needed to produce them. Motion passed WilliamV.Baird unanimously, and the proceeds of this venture would go into our Facade Improvement Grant Fund. Lori presented a design for approval and it was accepted. PAGE 2 STAND ALONE FUND Discussion on this topic was tabled until next month. BOOTH AT ART IN THE PARK Carl asked members if we should get the old exhibit of photos fixed up for the Museum Fair. We all decided no, but maybe for Fiesta Days in the park. It was suggested that we display plagued home pictures along with the sale of Landmark shirts. Lori will call Debbie Gust. FALL PROGRAM Carl said we will set a date for this at our July meeting if Jean is ready to decide when it should be. AUGUST MEETING It was decided that we will not have a meeting in August.
