Owen House update:
Perry Moy has contracted to purchase the property and plans to
close the sale at the end of October. He had retained Ernie Varga,
Structural Engineer, to inspect the property, the determination
was made that the property can be saved. Perry has decided that
to best utilize the property, the house should be moved to a new
foundation closer to a corner of the property, and subdivided to
sell the house and a small parcel of land separately; he has
expressed the possibility of providing $10,000 for this. Nancy
Fike has contacted the state representative of the National
Register and found that the house could be eligible for National
Register status, she will be providing them more information.
Facade work on the Flying Dragons building at 1323 N. Riverside Dr.

poster in the window as a promotion for providing funds for the work,
and will arrange publicity when the check is given to Mr. Steinmetz
