Amendments to the City of McHenry Zoning Ordinance.
The proposed amendments would result in the following
changes: 1) To permit the construction of residential
swimming pools between the principal structure on the lot
and the side property line, subject to certain restrictions; and
2) To increase the maximum permitted area for detached
garages and cumulative area for all accessory structures on
a residential lot; and 3) To replace the 35 percent rear-yard
lot coverage limitation for single-family zoning districts with a
tota! lot coverage limitation.
