Amendments to Section III, K, Temporary Uses, of the
City of McHenry Zoning Ordinance.
The proposed amendments include the following: clarifying
the definition of items that may be offered for sale through
temporary uses, changing the allowable period for certain
temporary uses from 90 to 120 days, restricting certain
temporary uses to established businesses in operation on
the same property or a non-profit organization, and to
require City Council approval of temporary uses for roadside
sale and display of farm produce, landscape material, or
other merchandise.
