Board of Police Commissioners
December 2, 2015
Chairman Rick Huber called the meeting to order at 4:00 PM in the City of McHenry Aldermen’s
Conference Room with the following Commissioner present: Ramon Gregorio and Mike Roberts.
Absent: None.
Also present: HR Manager Ann Campanella and Recording Secretary Marci Geraghty.
Public Input:
None.
Consideration of November 4, 2015 Meeting Minutes
Motion by Gregorio, seconded by Roberts to approve the minutes from the November 4, 2015 Police
Commission meeting as presented.
Voting Aye: Gregorio, Robert, Huber
Voting Nay: None
Abstaining: None
Not Voting: None
Absent: None
Motion carried.
Unfinished Business
a) Police Sergeant Exams
This topic was postponed to the January meeting when Chief Jones will be available to discuss a
proposal to possibly change the procedure used for the next promotional testing. Promotional testing
is not schedule to occur again until 2017 so there is adequate time for discussion. A copy of the new
Sergeant’s List will be distributed to the Commission in January.
New Business
a) Eligibility List
The possibility of proceeding with the creation of a new Eligibility List was discussed. The
Commission is agreeable to moving forward with the process. Chairman Huber will contact Chief
Jones for clarification.
b) 2016 Police Commission meeting schedule was distributed to the Commission. The Commission
will continue to meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 4:00 PM in the Municipal Center.
Roberts made a motion seconded by Gregorio to approve the schedule as presented.

Next meeting of the Police Commission is January 6, 2016.
