HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - 9/7/2016 - Police Commission City of McHenry Board of Police Commissioners September 7, 2016 Chairman Rick Huber called the meeting to order at 4:00 PM in the City of McHenry Council Chambers with the following Commissioners present Ramon Gregorio and Mike Roberts. Also present: Chief John Jones, Human Resources Manager Ann Campanella, and Deputy City Clerk Marci Geraghty. Public Input: None. 1. Consideration of August 3, 2016 Meeting Minutes Motion by Roberts, seconded by Gregorio to approve the minutes from the August 3, 2016 Police Commission meeting as presented. Voting Aye: Gregorio, Roberts, Huber Voting Nay: None Abstaining: None Not Voting: None Absent: None Motion carried. 2. Unfinished Business  Chief Jones reported newly hired Officer Bryan Wegner is doing well in the field. Officer Candidates Dinka Malik and Eve Kulcsar will graduate from PTI in Champaign on September 15th, after which they will begin field training with an assigned field training office and expected to be on the road solo by the end of this year.  Police administration and dispatch center renovations are scheduled to be completed March 3, 2017. Upon completion, the Police Commission will meet in the new conference room that will be located upstairs.  Chief Jones informed the commission he will discuss the procedure for posting the Lateral Entry Eligibility List at the meeting in October. 3. New Business None. 4. Communications None 2 5. Motion to Adjourn There being no further business to discuss, Gregorio made a motion, seconded by Roberts to adjourn the meeting. Voting Aye: Roberts, Gregorio, Huber Voting Nay: None Abstaining: None Not Voting: None Absent: None Motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 4:10 PM.
