Board of Police Commissioners
February 6, 2019
Chairman Rick Huber called the meeting to order at 4:50 PM in the Police Administration Conference
Room with the following Commissioner present, Michael Roberts and Ramon Gregorio. Also present was
Chief John Birk, Deputy Chief Tom Walsh and Administrative Assistant Debbie Shuett.
Public Comment
None.
1. Motion to Approve December 5, 2018 Meeting Report
Motion by Roberts, second by Gregorio to approve the minutes from the December 5, 2018
Police Commission meeting as presented. All ayes, motion carried.
2. Unfinished Business
Megan Carey is in Step 2 of training. She is doing very well, hard worker and well liked.
Officer Sean Klechak was terminated as of 2/5/2019, due to non-duty related medical issues.
Lateral list was posted on The Blue line. Posting open until 2/18/2019. Once the posting has been
closed, Human Resources will sort through applications. Will hopefully have list of qualified
candidates and applications to sort through by next meeting, which is on March 6th.
3. New Business
Lateral interviews will occur in March. Set up interview appointments at March 6th meeting.
4. Communications
The following bill(s) were presented for approval:

5. Adjournment
Motion by Chairman Huber, second by Gregorio to adjourn the meeting at 5:00 PM. All ayes,
motion carried.
