McHenry Jeff Marino Resource Community Development City of McHenry Approve Previous Meeting Minutes Zelinda Paluch Mary Kay Welter 2nd the motion Old Business Green Street Project Zelinda Paluch and Jeff Varda spoke about the progress noted on Green Street Stores Pam Kellogg presented information on the Carey Building on Green Street. Also, Shared some pictures. Hidden Pearl Building was owned by the Frett family. Huppy and Leo's Grocery Store opened their doors in 1947. Tom Hillier has completed the information on the Gambler Building. Petersen Farm Projects Tonyan Brothers are involved with the structure of the house at Petersen farm. No cedar shingles, they will be placing architectural asphalt shingles. There has been no communication with the City when completed. Petersen Farm Events 1. Petersen Farm boulder which will be placed next to the flagpole. Jeff Varda and Beth Staley motion carries. Mary Kay Welter suggested a board to be placed in the house to be presented. Members will be meeting at Petersen Park to organize files on July 14, 2022. Art in the Park Get pamphlets to pass out at Fiesta Days New Business The display case in the City Municipal Building will be updated. Tom Hillier has an outline for us in representing the Landmark Commission Jennifer Louden Kriewaldt will be marketing for the Farm Foundation Gardening friends at Petersen Farm. Pam Kellogg stated the "George Gage house plaque" needs updating Personnel Changes: Jeff Varda has resigned as Chair of the Landmark Commission. He will remain as a regular member. He has taken a position at Lewis University. He has been an Outstanding, Very Informative, Attentive Leader, Well Traveled Leader.
