Board of Police Commissioners
February 2, 2022
Police Chairman Sue Meyer called the meeting to order at 2:08 pm via Zoom with the following
Commissioners present, Mike Roberts and John Jones. Also present was Chief John Birk, Deputy Chief
Tom Walsh and Administrative Assistant Deb Shuett.
Public Comment
None.
1. Motion to Approve November 18, 2021 Meeting Report
Motion by Police Chairman Sue Meyer to approve meeting minutes. Police Commission John
Jones and second by Mike Roberts to approve the minutes from the November 18, 2021. Police
Commission meeting as presented. All ayes, motion carried.
2. Unfinished Business
As of today, Jack Zumwalt submitted his resignation.
3. New Business
With Robert Lumber’s retirement and Jack Zumwalt resignation, there are 2 vacancies for Patrol
Officers. Started background checks for Grahm McClure and William Campos. Polygraphs and
Psychological are being scheduled. Two academy slots open for April.
4. Communications
The following bill(s) were presented for approval:
Stanard & Associates $450.00
Personality evaluation Zachary Diebold
Theodore Polygraph $200.00
Polygraph - Zachary Diebold
Adjournment
Motion by Police Chairman Sue Meyer to adjourn meeting, Police Commission Mike Roberts
and second by John Jones to adjourn the meeting at 2:15 pm. All ayes, motion carried.
