Lobaito, City Administrator FOR: September 13, 2000 Regular City Council Meeting RE: Transfer of A-21 Liquor License – Cousin Ed’s Pizza An application to transfer the A-21 liquor license was received from Edward A. Beekil (Cousin Ed’s, Inc). Mr. Beekil is purchasing Ed’s Pizza at 2214 Route 120. Mr. Beekil has submitted all the necessary paperwork, paid the $250.00 transfer fee and was fingerprinted. When Mr. Beekil met with the Mayor, he disclosed an offense he committed more than 15-years ago. The Mayor reviewed the results of Mr. Beekil’s fingerprint report and consulted Chief Kostecki. Since Mr. Beekil has had no convictions since 1984, the Mayor is recommending that the City Council approve the transfer of the A-21 liquor license. If you have any questions regarding this recommendation, please contact the Mayor. He may be reached at his office in Woodstock during the day at 338.1334, or in the evening at 385.7332. mmg
