RE: Traffic Signal Study – Bull Valley Road/Ridgeview Drive
At the May 3, 2000 City Council meeting, this went before the City Council for
consideration under my Department Head Report. At that time, it was the City
Council’s wish to readdress this in September 2000.
As you may recall, Ald. Glab requested that the City Council consider a traffic signal
at this intersection. The Director of Public Works received a letter from Smith
Engineering outlining the requirements for warrants to install traffic signals. A copy
of this letter is attached to this report.
If the City Council wishes to pursue this matter, it is recommended that the City hire
an engineer to perform the warrant study.

RE: Transfer of Liquor License A-21 – Ed’s Pizza
An application for liquor license transfer was received from Edward A. Beekil (Cousin Ed’s
Inc). Mr. Beekil is purchasing Ed’s Pizza subject to approval of his application.
The McHenry Police Department has fingerprinted Mr. Beekil and the report is satisfactory.
In addition, he met with Mayor Cuda, all the necessary documents have been submitted,
and the $250.00 transfer fee has been paid. A copy of the application is attached for your
information.
As Liquor Commissioner, Mayor Cuda recommends the City Council approve the
application for the transfer of the A-21 Class A Liquor License from Ed’s Pizza to Edward A.
Beekil d/b/a Cousin Ed’s Inc.
