Lobaito, City Administrator FOR: September 6, 2000 Regular City Council Meeting RE: Traffic Signal Study – Bull Valley Road/Ridgeview Drive At the May 3, 2000 City Council meeting, this went before the City Council for consideration under my Department Head Report. At that time, it was the City Council’s wish to readdress this in September 2000. As you may recall, Ald. Glab requested that the City Council consider a traffic signal at this intersection. The Director of Public Works received a letter from Smith Engineering outlining the requirements for warrants to install traffic signals. A copy of this letter is attached to this report. If the City Council wishes to pursue this matter, it is recommended that the City hire an engineer to perform the warrant study. mmg Attach.
