Kostecki, Chief of Police FOR: July 19, 2000 Regular City Council Meeting RE: Award Presentation – Officer Mary Lee Eschbach Officer Mary Lee Eschbach has been recognized by the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (AAIM) for her exemplary record of Driving While Intoxicated enforcement during 1999. Officer Eschbach removed twenty intoxicated motorists from the streets of McHenry. This accounted for over twenty percent of the Department’s activity in this area during 1999. A Resolution recognizing Officer Eschbach for her efforts to keep the City of McHenry a safe place to live and drive will be presented to the City Council for consideration. Officer Eschbach will be presented with an award from the AAIM and an Exemplary Performance Award from the Police Department. mmg P R E S E N T A T I O N TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: John A. Lobaito, City Administrator FOR: July 19, 2000 Regular City Council Meeting State Representative Jack D. Franks will present ceremonial checks totaling $353,000 to the City of McHenry, obtained to fund various projects for the Police Department and Parks & Recreation Department. In addition, funds have been secured for a senior bus program and D.A.R.E. A Resolution thanking State Rep. Jack D. Cuda Date: January 10, 2022 Subject: Appointment to Landmark Commission At the July 19, 2000 Regular City Council meeting, I intend to appoint Ilene Wiedemann as the newest member of the Landmark Commission. Ms. Wiedemann is highly recommended by Commission member Gretchen Thomas and Chairman Lofgren. A copy of her application is attached for your review. The Landmark Commission consists of 12 members, each with two-year terms. Currently, the Commission is down to only eight members.
