Attached is the Planning Design Workshop agenda for Monday, September 10. It is
anticipated that the workshop will begin at approximately 8:00 PM following a “Do the
Right Thing” award presentation and consideration of the Consent Agenda.
Sarah Nerenberg from the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission (NIPC) will be
presenting the workshop. This workshop is designed to provide an overview of the
importance of planning, particularly the unique environmental resources available in
McHenry; techniques to use in development to protect and enhance those resources; and a
hands-on exercise to apply the materials presented.
