Lobaito, City Administrator FOR: May 6, 2002 Regular City Council Meeting RE: Special Recognition – DUI Enforcement The Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (AIM) has acknowledged the DUI enforcement efforts of three McHenry Police Officers, Officer Jill Foley, Officer David Porter, and Officer Eric Sexton. Karin Gold Victim Services Coordinator for AIM will be present to address the City Council. mmg OATH OF OFFICE TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: John A. Lobaito, City Administrator FOR: May 6, 2002 Regular City Council Meeting RE: Oath of Office As a result of the vacancies and pursuant to city ordinance, Police Chief O’Meara has appointed Sergeant William Brogan to Deputy Chief effective May 1, 2002. Sergeant Brogan replaces former Deputy Chief Raymond Donahue. The appointment of Deputy Chief Brogan and the promotion of Police Chief O’Meara has left two Sergeants positions vacant. Officer Roger Pechous and Officer John Jones will be promoted to Sergeant upon receiving the Oath of Office at the May 6, 2002 City Council meeting. In the absence of Police Commission Chairman Father Robert Sherry, Police Commission member Marianna Wolfmeyer will be administering the Oath of Office. A brief reception will immediately follow for family and friends in the Municipal Center Classroom. mmg
