The Consent Agenda for the March 4, 2002 City Council meeting consists of the

RE: Request for Transfer of Class F2-6 Liquor License
Recommendation: To approve the request to transfer the Class F2-6 Liquor License
at 810 N. Front Street from Family Food Mart of McHenry, Inc. d/b/a Family Food
Mart to McHenry Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Family Food Mart, subject to satisfactory
fingerprint results for the new owner and local manger.
The Mayor is in receipt of a liquor license transfer request from Jagdish Shah, registered
agent of McHenry Enterprises. Mr. Shah purchased the Family Food Mart located at 810
N. Front Street.
Mr. Shah currently owns Streamwood Liquors, Inc. d/b/a Cardinal Liquors in Streamwood,
Illinois. He is B.A.S.S.E.T.T. certified and is conversant with the State of Illinois liquor
control regulations.
Mr. Shah has submitted all required paperwork; he and his local manager have been
fingerprinted by the McHenry Police Department, and he has met with Mayor Althoff.
It is the Mayor’s recommendation to approve the request for liquor license transfer to Mr.
Jagdish Shah of McHenry Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Family Food Mart, subject to satisfactory
fingerprint result for owner and local manager.
