RE: Request for special event liquor license, and waiver of all
associated fees
from the Irish Children’s Fund for the sale of beer and wine at their
fundraiser on Saturday, April 19, 2008.
The McHenry area chapter of the Irish Children’s Fund (ICF) is requesting a special
event liquor license for the sale of beer and wine and waiver of all associated fees, for
a fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2008. The event will be held at the
Church of Holy Apostles from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and will feature a production of
Sister Bernie’s Bingo Bash.
Attached is a letter from the ICF Coordinator Brian Durkin and special event license
application.
Recommendation: It is the Mayor’s recommendation to approve the request for a
special event liquor license, and to waive all associated fees for the ICF fundraiser on
April 19, 2008.
