Final Pay Request from Langos, Corp. for demolition of barn/silo at 312 S. Green Street, $13,500; B. Final Pay Request from CornerStone Material Recovery, Inc. for demolition of vacant houses at 4312 Lakewood Road and 312 S. Green Street, $37,700; C. Attachments CONSENT AGENDA TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: Bill Hobson, Assistant City Administrator FOR: January 29, 2007, Regular City Council Meeting RE: Final Pay Request - Demolition of Barn and Silo – 312 South Green Street On October 30, 2006, the City Council accepted a bid from Langos Corp. for the demolition of the barn and silo at 312 South Green Street, for a total of $13,500. The work was completed in November 2006, and Langos Corp. has fulfilled the requirements of the contract. Recommendation: To authorize payment of the attached invoice from Langos Corp. in the amount of $13,500 for demolition of the barn and silo at 312 South Green Street. CONSENT AGENDA TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: Bill Hobson, Assistant City Administrator FOR: January 29, 2007, Regular City Council Meeting RE: Final Pay Request - Demolition of vacant houses at 4312 Lakewood Road and 312 South Green Street On October 30, 2006, the City Council accepted a bid from CornerStone Material Recovery, Inc. to demolish the vacant houses at 4312 Lakewood Road and 312 South Green Street, for a total of $37,700. The demolitions were completed in November 2006, and CornerStone Material Recovery, Inc. has fulfilled the requirements of the contract. Recommendation: To authorize payment of the attached invoice from CornerStone Material Recovery, Inc. in the amount of $37,700 for demolition of the vacant houses at 4312 Lakewood Road and 312 South Green Street. MAYOR’S REPORT TO: City Council FROM: Mayor Susan E. Low FOR: January 29, 2007 Regular City Council Meeting RE: Appointment of Student Member to Landmark Commission The position of student member to the Landmark Commission is currently vacant. McHenry High School student Tyler Franzen has applied for the position. If the City Council has no objections, I intend to appoint Mr. Franzen as the newest member of the Landmark Commission.
