McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce request for use of Petersen Park and th temporary advertising signs for 15 Annual Country Meadows Craft Show; B. As Needed Checks; and C. Attachments CONSENT AGENDA TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: Bill Hobson, Assistant City Administrator FOR: February 12, 2007 Regular City Council Meeting th RE: 15 Annual Country Meadows Craft Show RECOMMENDATION: To grant a request from the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce th for use of Petersen Park on September 16, 2007, for the 15 Annual Country Meadows Craft Show and approve the installation of temporary advertising signs in municipal right-of- ways conditioned that the signs be removed by September 17, 2007. Attachments: Letter from the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce List of Temporary Sign Locations th The McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce is requesting permission to host the 15 Annual Country Meadows Craft Show on Sunday, September 16, 2007, from 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Petersen Park. To advertise the event, the chamber is also requesting permission to install several apple shaped signs in municipal right-of-ways from September 5 through September 16. The chamber has agreed to remove the signs by September 17. As last year, the chamber will be charged all associated fees for the event, which include $200 for use of Petersen Park (plus refundable $100 deposit), and a $30 fee for the temporary sign permit.
