raiser with live music and a bingo tent on Saturday, June 9, 2007; and, waiver of all
associated fees
8. Transfer of Class F2-5 Liquor License to Bickey Corporation d/b/a Sunrise Grocery &
Liquors, 3020 West Route 120
9. Variance to utilize an existing well for landscape watering at The Church of Holy Apostles
10. Ordinance amending Municipal Code Chapter 5 establishing regulations for Carnivals and
Circuses
11. Ordinance amending Municipal Code Chapters 1 through 12 increasing fines for certain
code offenses
12. Purchase of Computer Servers (3) off of State Contract through Dell Computer in an amount
not to exceed $17,445
13. Staff recommendation to a) accept proposal from Water Well Solutions Drilling Division,
LLC for rehabilitation of Well No. 9 for an amount not to exceed $34,486.40; b) approve a
budget amendment for 2006/07 fiscal year in the amount of $22,886.40; and, c) waive bid
requirements

CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda for the February 5, 2007 City Council meeting consists of the
following items:
A. McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce Year 2007 Fiesta Days schedule; Special Event Liquor License; and,
waiver of all associated fees;

RE: McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce 2007 Fiesta Days

RECOMMENDATION: To a) accept the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce 59
Annual Fiesta Days event schedule; b) use of Parks, Police, and Public Works
departments for various services related to the event; c) special event liquor license;
and, d) waiver of all associated fees.
Attached for the City Council’s review and acceptance is the schedule of events for

the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce 59 Annual Fiesta Days. This year, Fiesta
Days will begin on Friday, July 13, and conclude with the parade on Sunday, July 21,
2007. The chamber is requesting permission to use Petersen and Veterans Memorial
Parks and the Parks, Police, and Public Works departments to provide various
services for the event.
Pursuant to approval of the Fiesta Days schedule, the chamber has submitted an
application for a special event liquor license to serve beer and wine on the following
dates and locations. Every effort will be made by the chamber to assure that
underage visitors will not be served alcoholic beverages. I.D. wristbands will be
required for service.
