FOR: July 6, 2005 Regular City Council Meeting
RE: Parking Lot Control Agreement – McHenry High School District 156
Recommendation: To authorize the Mayor to execute the attached Parking Lot
Control between the City of McHenry and McHenry High School District 156.
The McHenry Police Department received a request from District 156 to provide
police patrols for the following facilities: West and East Campus High Schools,
Administration Offices, and McCracken Field. The attached agreement enables the
department to assist the district by permitting officers to enforce city regulations on
District 156 property.
The city currently has similar agreements with other property owners, some of which
include, The Fountain Shoppes of McHenry, Mid America Management, The Greens
of Irish Prairie, and Remax Plaza Shopping Center.
