Maxeiner, City Administrator FOR: Regular City Council Meeting RE: AGENDA SUPPLEMENT TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: Douglas K. Maxeiner, City Administrator FOR: January 3, 2005 Regular City Council Meeting RE: Request for Transfer of Class B-3 Liquor License White Hen Pantry, 3808 West Elm Street Mayor Low received notice from White Hen Pantry, Inc. that McHenry residents David and Loreen Robaczewski purchased the franchise and requests the transfer of the Class B-3 liquor license. As the City Council may recall, in August 2004 White Hen Pantry, Inc. assumed ownership of the franchise store located at 3008 West Elm Street until the franchise was sold to a new owner. The Robaczewski’s have attend Techniques of Alcohol Management training provided by White Hen, Inc; they are conversant with the State of Illinois liquor control regulations; and, will manage the store themselves. All the required paperwork has been submitted and fingerprints were taken by the McHenry Police Department. Recommendation: It is the Mayor’s recommendation to transfer the Class B-3 liquor license to David and Loreen Robaczewski of DLBLB Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a White Hen Pantry, 3808 West Elm Street subject to satisfactory fingerprint results. In addition, all employees involved in the sale of alcohol will attend BASSETT training. mmg
