Adjournment Posted and Mailed: December 15, 2004 CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda for the December 20, 2004 City Council meeting consists of the following items: A. Request to Advertise for Bids for purchase of Backhoe Loader for Public Works Water Division; B. Resolution R-04-014 increasing water/sewer rates; C. December 6, 2004 City Council Minutes; and D. Maxeiner, City Administrator FOR: December 20, 2004 Regular City Council Meeting RE: Request for Transfer of Class G-4 Liquor License Mayor Low received notice from Mr. Art Theodoris owner and operator of Green Street Café, that he is selling his interest in the Green Street Café located at 1219 North Green Street to his chef of 15-½ years, José Rodriguez. Consequently, Mr. Theodoris is requesting the transfer of the Class G-4 liquor license. Mr. Rodriguez lives in the City of McHenry and will also manage the business. He has agreed to become BASSET certified and is conversant with the State of Illinois liquor control regulations. All the required paperwork has been submitted, he has been fingerprinted by the McHenry Police Department, and has met with the Mayor. Recommendation: It is the Mayor’s recommendation to approve the request to transfer the Class G-4 liquor license to José Rodriguez of Little Jennie, Inc. d/b/a Green Street Café subject to satisfactory fingerprint results. In addition, all employees involved in the sale of alcohol at the restaurant will attend BASSETT training. mmg
