CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda for the August 30, 2004 City Council meeting consists of the
following items:

RE: Family Services & Community Mental Health Center –
National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month
Barb Schmiege and Paul Wray-Fugatt from the Family Services & Community Mental
Health Center located in McHenry will be in attendance to request the execution of
the attached Proclamation declaring the month of September as “National Alcohol
and Drug Addiction Recovery Month.”

RE: St. Patrick Parish Annual Oktoberfest Celebration
Recommendation: To approve the request made by St. Patrick Parish for a Special
Event Liquor License and waiver of all associated fees for the Annual Oktoberfest
Celebration on Saturday, September 25 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
St. Patrick Parish is hosting their Annual Oktoberfest Celebration, Saturday,
September 25, 2004 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM on church property located at 3500 W.
Washington Street. Attached is a letter from Event Chair Tamara Korczyk requesting
a Special Event Liquor License and waiver of all associated fees. Please note the
church will not be placing signs around the city advertising the festival.
