Mary Kay Welter volunteered to take the position as financial reporter.
Celeste Heidemann volunteered to take the minutes for the meeting.
Discussion moving forward as we have not had a meeting since March 2020 due to the pandemic. The last 2 years
have been "Horrendous."

Jeff Varda talked to Nancy Fike to show up at our meetings and be emeritus.

1. Awareness
2. Getting brochures distributed to Senior Citizen Residences
Speaking about the History of McHenry, if they show some interest

Peterson Park update
Jeff Varda spoke with Bill Hobson to firm up Peterson Park
The Cost: $237,000
Jeff stated Jeff Simel came to check on the "bat situation" in the barn.
The Peterson family will need to become aware of the situation of the whole farm.
Jeff Varda met with the Social Science Department at McHenry High School.
Jeff discussed the possibility of having 2 interns from the High School to come to our meetings.. This program will
start in January.
Jeff will be possibly speaking to the Freshman History Class in May.
We will be sending out Reminders concerning time and dates of our next meeting.
