1. Call to Order.
2. Roll Call.
3. Pledge of Allegiance.
4. Presentation: Proclamation in Honor of Jessup Manufacturing Company in recognition of
60th Business Anniversary.
5. City of McHenry Mission Statement.
6. Public Comment: Any person wishing to address the City Council will be required to
step forward to the podium and identify themselves for the record and will be asked but
are not required to provide their address. Public Comment may be restricted to three-
minutes for each individual speaker. Order and decorum shall be maintained at public
meetings.
7. Motion to approve the following Consent Agenda items:
A. Resolution designating the importance of manufacturing to our community and
designating October 7, 2016 as National Manufacturing Day in the City of
McHenry;
B. Transmittal of 1st Quarter 2016/17 Financial Report;
C. Payment of Bills in the amount of$2,299,233.79.
D. Issuance of As-Needed Checks in the amount of$2,036,902.10.
8. Motion to adopt an ordinance granting a 1.28-foot reduction variation in the required side
yard building setback requirements for the property located at 1503 N Richmond Road.
9. Conditioned upon approval of Agenda Item#10, Motion to adopt:
A. An Ordinance granting a Use Variance to allow a tavern at 4117 Shamrock Lane,
subject to certain conditions; and
B. A Variance from off-street parking and loading requirements for Lots 1-3 of the
Liberty Square Shopping Center.
10. (Assuming approval of Agenda Item #9) Motion to approve:
A. An Application for a Class A Liquor License from BeerAbility Lake Zurich, LLC
d/b/a BeerAbility located at 4117 W. Shamrock Lane; and

B. An Ordinance increasing the number of Class A licenses in effect from 26 to 27.
11. Conditioned upon approval of Agenda Item#12, Motion to adopt:
A. An Ordinance granting a Use Variance to allow a restaurant serving alcohol with
outdoor seating, service, and consumption located at 335-337 Front Street, as well
as operating of the restaurant with seating outdoors past 10:00p.m., subject to
certain conditions; and
B. A Variance from off-street parking and loading requirements for the Fountain
Shoppes of McHenry.
12. (Assuming approval of Agenda Item #11) Motion to approve:
A. An Application for a Class A Liquor License from Addison's Steakhouse LLC d/b/a
Addison's Steakhouse located at 335-337 Front Street; and
B. An Ordinance increasing number of Class A licenses by one.
13. Conditioned upon approval of Agenda Item#14, Motion to adopt an ordinance granting a
Conditional Use Permit to allow a tavern at 810 Front Street, Unit C.
14. (Assuming approval of Agenda Item #13) Motion to approve:
A. An application for a Class A Liquor License from 3 Queens, Inc. d/b/a 3 Queens
located at 810 Front Street, Unit C; and
B. An Ordinance increasing number of Class A licenses by one.
15. Motion to approve a Professional Services Agreement with HR Green, Inc. for Design,
Bidding, and Construction Services for the Public Works Facility Standby Generator
Project in an amount not to exceed$44,340 and authorization to publicly bid the project.
