i sion of Crystal Lake and McHenry,
Illinois have evaluated alternate mini -corridor alignments
in the eastern portion of McHenry County which will have
an important physical and economic impact on the future
growth of the cities, and
Physical features of lands within the planninar areas
of each city have been studied to determine the mini -
corridor which best serves lonp,-range transportation needs,
Dwithout impairing commercial, industrial or residential

way north of Crystal Lake, have been considered as a part
of these evaluations, and

The future location of the McHenry i`ounty Junior College
and McHenr�r_Cammunity Hospital will be centrally located
between major population centers in the county, approximately
between Crystal Lake and McHenry on Cryfital Lake4l&enry Road
and will best be served by the mini -corridor agreed upon by
the signators of this resolution, and

and alternate proposals to evaluate alignments south and
west of Cry.;tal .Labe have been discussed and determined
to be detrimental to the best interests of both communities
and the new Junior College and Hospital sites.
Nfltla TI�F.IiEyOKE, that the Planning
Commissions of the City of. Crystal Labe and the City of
McHenry agree upon the mini -corridor alignment shown on
Exhibit A and do herewith recommelzd this agreement for
adoption by the City Councils of both cities and transmitted
to the Illinois D'vision of highways for their use and
guidance in establishing the Fox Valley Freeway.
