RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, JEROME ROGERS has served as Chairman of the McHenry Bicen-
tennial Commission during the Bicentennial Observation of the Declaration
of Independence held in the City of McHenry during 1976, and
WHEREAS, he has given much time and energy to make this Bicentennial
Year Observation and its many activities a success , and
• WHEREAS, he has shown civic interest in the progress of the City of
McHenry for many years ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
McHenry go on record acknowledging the outstanding contribution made by
Jerome Rogers toward this project and expresses its appreciation on behalf
of the citizens of McHenry.
I move the adoption of the above resolution, that it be incorporated
in the minutes of this meeting, and a copy be presented to Jerome Rogers .
