WHEREAS it is necessary for the City to make a positivie
declaration determing what period of time between seven
and twenty eight days constitutes a work period under the
Fair Labor Standards Act, as Amended, in order to be eligible
for the modified overtime exemptions under the provisions of
said Act as they relate to law endorcement personnel of the
City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MCHENRY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby declared that the period of 28
days constitutes a work period for the law enforcement per-
sonnel of the City.
SECTION 2. A copy this Resolution shall be kept as a
permanent part of the records of the City.
SECTION 3. The law enforcement personnel of the City
shall be notified of this declaration.
