HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - R-72-4 - 08/21/1972 - Recognizing John Weichmann a -- RESOLUTION -- 7 WHEREAS, Sergeant John Weichmann has served twenty years as a member of the City of McHenry Police Department, and WHEREAS, he has decided to retire from the department, and WHEREAS, he has demonstrated devotion to his duties in the enforcement of the law, protecting life and property, and WHEREAS, his conduct as a police officer has been a ,e, credit to the department and to the City, and CP WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council wish to express their appreciation to John for services rendered to the community, and WHEREAS, best wishes are extended to John and his family for their health and happiness, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council go on record as recognizing the loss of an able and conscientious member of the Police Department. I move the adoption of the above resolution and that it be incorporated in the minutes of this meeting and a copy presented to John Weichmann. Moved by: Theodore N.
