RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, certain residents of the area commonly known as
McHenry Shores have requested the City of McHenry to consent to the
area becoming incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois apper-
taining thereto, and
WHEREAS, such consent of the municipality is required under
the provisions of Section 2-2-7 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised
Statutes, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of McHenry does not
object to such incorporation of said area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of McHenry, Illinois, that it does hereby consent to the pro-
ponents of the incorporation of the area known as McHenry Shores to do
such things and acts as may be necessary to effect the incorporation of
said area.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 7th day of February, 1972.
