RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the McHenry County Regional Planning Commission
has been reviewing the Corridor studies for the location of the
Fox Valley Freeway; and
WHEREAS, the Cities of Crystal Lake and McHenry have pre-
viously recommended by Joint Resolution a possible Corridor a-
lignment location for said Freeway.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Council of the City of McHenry request that the McHenry County
Regional Planning Commission make a comparative study of the
alignment recommended in the Joint Resolution of the Cities of
Crystal Lake and McHenry, utilizing the same resource docu-
ments used by the McHenry County Regional Planning Commission
staff in arriving at their Corridor Alignment Recommendation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed
to file a copy of this resolution with the Chairman of the
McHenry County Regional Planning Commission.
