HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - R-67-2 - 11/06/1967 - Recognizing Leo Winkel RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Leo J. Winkel has retired after serving thirty eight years in the McHenry Post Office, and WHEREAS, he has conscientiously served the people in McHenry, with distinction and dedication to his duties, during an unusually long period of time, and WHEREAS, his knowledge and efficiency has been a vital factor in orderly growth and development of the local Post Office, and WHEREAS, he has also served many years on the Local Board of Health. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of McHenry go on record as recognizing the services rendered by Leo J. Winkel . Further, that this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting and a copy be presented to him. Alderman Huck, seconded by Alderman Etten, moved the adoption of this Resolution and it was passed this 6th. day of November, 1967 with unanimous approval .
