WHEREAS, the McHenry Choral Club, an outstanding organization,
is completing its twenty fifth year, and
WHEREAS, the people of McHenry and surrounding area have enjoyed
wholesome entertainment and cultural benefits provided by this talented
group, and
WHEREAS, the leadership and participation by members of this
group has afforded assistance to civic enterprises by giving generously
and cheerfully of time and talent,
NOT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry express sincere appreciation to the McHenry Choral Club.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be presented to
Miss Adele Froehlich, Director of the McHenry Choral Club, and a copy
of resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting.
The above resolution was presented by Alderman Bolger, seconded
by Alderman Huck, and unanimously approved.
