RESOLUTIO N.
WHEREAS, our neighboring City of Woodstock has been selected
as "All America City", and
WHEREAS, the great honor is so richly deserved, and
WHEREAS, the City of Woodstock has earned its distinction through
careful planning and diligent effort, and
WHEREAS, years of cooperation between the City Council, outstand—
ing organizations and many interested citizens has brought gratifying results,
and
WHEREAS, the City of McHenry takes pride in having such honors
bestowed upon our neighboring city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of McHenry extend
sincere congratulations to all citizens of Woodstock, with best wishes for
continued enjoyment of the stature now held by the City of Woodstock.
At a meeting of the City Council of the City of McHenry, April 8,
1964, Alderman Conway, seconded by Alderman Huck, moved, with unanimous
approval, that the above Resolution be adopted and a copy be presented to
the Mayor of the City of Woodstock.
