CONCERNING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the depositary ledger records of the City
of McHenry, McHenry State Bank, indicate cash or debit
balances on each of the following accounts as itemized:

1 WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interests of the
City of McHenry to terminate and close all of the above iden-
tified accounts in order to save annual auditing expense and
to aid in the welfare of the inhabitants of the City of McHenr ,
to the application of such funds to the general corporate work ,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of McHenry
does hereby bind itself to any and all holders of valid claims )
against any of the above sums as set forth hereinabove, such
sums of money as may be now presently in said accounts as
cash credits, if such valid claims shall be presented and
proven at any time in the future, provided that such payments
out of such funds shall not be any greater amounts than are

now hereinabove established as being the rightful balance
of such funds in such accounts,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that any and all sums of money
presently deposited in the McHenry State Bank in Special
Assessment Accounts No. 9, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24,
less Supplemental account No. 23, together with Special
Assessment fund Special Account and Unidentified Account be
transferred to the general corporate funds of the City of
1 McHenry and the proper corporate officers are hereby
authorized and directed to effect such transfer at once.
