RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO
REVISION OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE CITY OF McHENRY
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the members of the City Council
of the City of McHenry, Illinois that a complete revision of the
Municipal Code of the said City is desirable and necessary in view of
the great lapse of time since the previous revision and the changing
conditions of the City and surrounding area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the
City of McHenry be and hereby is authorized to employ
the services of an attorney, or attorneys for the
purposes of revision of the Municipal Code of the
City of McHenry in such manner as is required to meet
the municipal conditions as they now exist and will
probably expand, and that the said Mayor shall so
appoint the attorney, or attorneys, for such purpose by
and with the consent of the City Council and shall
make such appointment at any time subsequent to the
1st day of May, A. D. 1957.
Further provided; that the cost of such revision of
the Municipal Code of the City of McHenry shall not
exceed the sum of Four Thousand ( ,000.00) Dollars,
exclusive of the printing or promulgating of same.
