RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the character of the community is, to a great extent,
determined by the park and recreational facilities provided for the
benefit of its inhabitants, and
WHEREAS, the various communities of McHenry Township and the
northern portion of Nunda Township do not now have available adequate
park and recreational facilities, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that adequate park and recreational
facilities be provided for the benefit of the inhabitants of said
communities and unincorporated territory without further delay, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the most satisfactory method of pro-
viding park and recreational facilities is through the formation of a
PPEi DISTRICT to include territory in the McHenry Township area

and operating :within the above descri'Led territory, does approve of the
organization of a PARK DISTRICT for and in behalf of the residents
