`Whereas the City of LoHenry has not heretofore had City
delivery service and
Ythereas it appears that a large majority of the citizens
of the City of McHenry desire that the postal authorities institute
free delivery service in the City of McHenry, and
Whereas the members of the City Council of the City of
McHenry are anxious to have City delivery service instituted in the
City of McHenry by the Postoffice Department and
Whereas the City Council of the City of McHenry will be
Satisfied with any location selected for the main postoffice but
prefer that the present East side station be used as the main
postoffice with the contract station on the West side of the City
of McHenry.
NOW THEREFOR be it resolved that the City Council of the
City of I Henry, in meeting assembled, do hereby request the
postal authorities of the United States of America to institute
City delivery service in the City of McHenry.
