RESOLUTION
S7H EAS, the number of taverns doing business
in the City of McHenry is far out of proportion to the
population of the City of McHenry, and
'.7HER7AS, it is the desire of the Mayor and the
City Council of the City of McHenry to reduce the number
of taverns in the City of McHenry.
NOT, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the License
Cor::mittee of the City of McHenry be instructed to issue no
more new liquor licenses; and be it further resolved that
should any of the taverns now being operated discontinue -
business, that no new license will be issued for any tavern
at the same location if the said license is allowed to lapse..
