WHEREAS, the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, wishes to participate
in the Joint Purchasing Program of the Procurement Division of the Department of
General Services of the State of Illinois, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry County,
Illinois, believe that participation is the Joint Purchasing Program will result
in better prices, services, and delivery of equipment necessary for the City of
McHenry's operations, and
WHEREAS, all purchases made through the Joint Purchasing Program of the
Procurement Division of the Department of General Services of the State of
Illinois will be for Public use only.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of
McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, that the City of McHenry shall participate in
the Joint Purchasing Program of the Procurement Division of the Department of
General Services of the State of Illinois.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City of McHenry, McHenry County,
Illinois, deliver a certified copy of this Resolution to the Procurement Division
of the Department of General Services of the State of Illinois.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall remain in full force and
effect from and after its passage until revoked by Resolution passed by the Mayor
and City Council of the City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, and forwarded
to the Procurement Division of the Department of General Services of the State
of Illinois.
Motion by Ernest Schooley , seconded by Walther Schaedel , that the above
resolution be adopted.
Ayes: Bolger, Harker, Datz, Smith, Schaedel , Schooley.
Nays: None.
Absent: Nolan, Adams.
Passed and approved this 31 day of October , 1977.
