WHEREAS, Shamrock Beef Cattle Farm has filed a
Petition before the McHenry County Zoning Board of
Appeals for a conditional use to allow the use of
the property described therein for a private landing
field ; and,
WHEREAS, the property in question for which such
conditional use is being sought is located within one
and one-half miles of the corporate limits of the City
of McHenry, Illinois, which City is a zoned municipality;
and,
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the City of
McHenry have determined that the granting of such a
conditional use on said property is not in the best
interests of the citizens of the City of McHenry.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council
of the City of McHenry, County of McHenry, Illinois,
as follows :
1. That the City of McHenry objects to the
granting of the above described conditional use and
it respectfully requests the McHenry County Zoning
Board of Appeals to decline to make a favorable
recommendation in connection with the aforesaid
Petition. That, in addition thereto, the City of
McHenry respectfully requests the McHenry County Board
to vote against said conditional use permit.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to sign this Resolution
and that a certified copy of this Resolution be filed
with the McHenry County Clerk immediately.
