WHEREAS, WILLIAM J. BOLGER has served on the McHenry Public
Library Board since 1960, and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM J. BOLGER has served as President of the
McHenry Public Library Board for seventeen years, and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM J. BOLGER has devoted much time and energy
as President of the McHenry Public Library Board, and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM J. BOLGER has shown civic interest in the
progress of the McHenry Public Library for many years, and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM J. BOLGER has served with ability and
integrity, and
WHEREAS, WILLIAM J. BOLGER has submitted a letter of Retire-
ment from the McHenry Public Library Board effective July 10, 1978,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of McHenry go on record recognizing these contributions and
accomplishments and expresses its appreciation on behalf of the
citizens of McHenry.
I move the adoption of the above resolution, that it be
incorporated in the minutes of this meeting and a copy be presented
to William J. Bolger.
